Big Ben, which actually refers to one of the bells in the clock tower rather than the clock itself as most people think, towers above the Houses of Parliament in London. Big Ben is on the Victoria Embankment on the west side of the Thames river, and it one of the most iconic sights in the city. Although this area is a tourist hub, its location as the seat of government means that it is less diner-friendly than many other areas of London; just a few options are within walking distance.
